BJ Davis doubled Academy Award winners Tom Hanks, Jack Nicholson, Tommy Lee Jones, Michael Caine and Art Carney.

He holds two world records: a high fall from a helicopter into the ocean from 180 feet and an aerial neck suspension beneath a helicopter at 70 mph, at 1,000 feet for a period of 20 minutes of flight. These two world records still stand, and as a testament to their danger, another stuntman was unfortunately killed trying to beat them.

BJ was inducted into the Hollywood Stuntmen's Hall of Fame (other members include movie superstar Kirk Douglas, an American icon John Wayne, pioneer stuntman Yakima Canutt and Jackie Chan ).

He has worked as a stuntman in over 180 films and television shows and as a second unit director/stunt coordinator in over 250 films and television series, eventually moving on to directing and producing. Throughout his illustrious career, BJ Davis worked on more than 400 projects. He is a member of numerous film unions, guilds and organizations and is teaching action techniques in worldwide workshops.

BJ's wife, Julia Davis, doubled Angelina Jolie.

BJ directed Brandon Lee in his first feature film, "Laser Mission".

BJ appeared in Mattel commercials as the action hero "Marshal Bravestarr".

In 2006, feature film "Forget About It", which was produced and directed by BJ Davis, won the Best Picture Award at the New Jersey Film Festival. "Forget About It" is a comedy starring Burt Reynolds, Raquel Welch, Charles Durning, Robert Loggia and Richard Grieco. The Director's Cut of "Forget About It", released on October 16, 2005, was selected by the Phoenix Film Festival as their showcase project. "Forget About It" was also selected by the Houston WorldFest Film Festival, Beverly Hills Film Festival, USA Film Festival, West Palm Beach Film Festival, Moondance Film Festival, San Diego Film Festival, Jackson Hole, WY Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Festival and Palm Springs Film Festival. "Forget About It" was showcased at the first Hoboken New Jersey International Film Festival in 2007, which Davis co-created with Hoboken Police Chief Anthony Falco (BJ Davis' partner in the film production company Hoboken Pictures).

The actor who played a mobster in "Forget About It" turned out to be a real-life mobster and was sentenced to 10 yrs. in federal prison in 2008.

BJ worked as a stunt coordinator and made numerous appearances in Star Trek films, including Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. He is featured on the Star Trek Wikipedia, Memory Alpha.

BJ's autobiography is entitled "Confessions Of A Hollywood Stuntman".

Davis took an active position in the affairs of the Screen Actors Guild when he served as secretary to Charlton Heston and Robert Conrad. He rallied the stunt world and successfully demanded the Screen Actors Guild provide contractual representation for stunt coordinators.

The motto of BJ Davis and his company, Stunts Spectacular, is "We do the difficult immediately, the impossible by appointment".

BJ Davis studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
